ActionStreamer and MetroStar Highlight UL-Certified IRIS at AFA Air, Space & Cyber 2025
ActionStreamer will join MetroStar at the 2025 AFA Air, Space & Cyber Conference to spotlight the UL-certified IRIS system—a wearable, live-streaming solution designed to support U.S. Air Force maintainers and connected operators in confined, hazardous environments.
Originally developed alongside the USAF fuel maintenance community and advanced through the AFWERX Spark Tank program, IRIS is intrinsically safe and purpose-built for hands-free video streaming from inside respirators and enclosed aircraft systems.
From Spark Tank to Mission-Ready
Backed by MetroStar, Tessaract, and certified by UL, IRIS is now ready for wide-scale deployment. It enables secure live streaming and communications from within aircraft fuel cells, maintenance bays, and critical systems—extending visibility to remote supervisors and command teams without compromising PPE or safety protocols.
Built on ActionStreamer’s ActionSync platform, IRIS supports low-latency video, developer-friendly APIs, and integration with existing command-and-control infrastructure.
Visit Us at AFA
At this year’s event, ActionStreamer and MetroStar will be on-site to discuss how IRIS is shaping the future of aerospace maintenance and real-time documentation for defense operators.
Meet us at booth #847.
IRIS is now available for deployment across USAF maintenance operations and beyond.
