ActionStreamer is presenting IRIS at LOA, alongside MetroStar

We're proud to announce that ActionStreamer CRO Derek Rathel will be presenting at the Logistics Officer Association Symposium alongside Hannah (Feldman) Hunt, VP of Product at MetroStar. Their session focuses on how IRIS is helping defense teams improve safety, reduce costs, and increase aircraft availability through real-time data and AI-enabled decision support.

What IRIS does

Fuel tank inspections are among the most demanding tasks in military aircraft maintenance. For aircraft like the KC-135, these inspections happen in confined spaces filled with hazardous fuel vapors, where safety and speed are both mission-critical.

IRIS combines POV cameras integrated into full-face respirators and wearables, built on Certified Intrinsically Safe technology, to give command centers real-time visibility into what's happening inside the tank, without requiring additional personnel to enter hazardous areas. Live high-definition video and two-way audio keep inspection teams and decision-makers connected throughout the process, enabling faster identification of issues and more coordinated responses.

How ActionSync brings it together

At the core of IRIS is the ActionSync Platform, which synchronizes video feeds from ActionStreamer wearables with audio communications and other inspection data into a single, centralized system. ActionSync AI adds object detection, labeling, and transcription capabilities, helping teams surface potential risks in footage that might otherwise go unnoticed. For organizations integrating IRIS into existing workflows, the ActionSync API provides a straightforward interface that connects with current infrastructure and applications.

Proven results in the field

In a recent U.S. Air Force case study, IRIS delivered significant reductions in maintenance hours and operational costs, while meaningfully increasing aircraft availability days. Faster, more accurate inspections mean aircraft return to service sooner, a direct contribution to mission readiness and national security. IRIS is also Certified Intrinsically Safe by Underwriters Laboratories, reflecting the rigorous safety standards built into every component of the system.

Catch the session at LOA

Derek and Hannah will walk through how IRIS is being deployed in real sustainment environments, what the integration looks like in practice, and how AI-enabled tools are reshaping the decision-making process for maintainers and logisticians. If you're attending LOA and working in defense maintenance or sustainment technology, this is a conversation worth being part of.
